I am writing some integrations with CRM on-demand services such as NetSuite.  Our tool makes for rapid development using SOAP services and we'd like to start showing our integrations to customers.  The problem I am finding with NetSuite's integration though, is that the response time from the SOAP request is very long.  The other CRM services I have integrated with have much quicker response times in comparison which leads me to believe that it is a problem with the NetSuite service itself.

What is the typical response time I should expect from a SOAP request?

Is there anything I can do to speed up response times?
