2008_1_0 WSDL ready for production?

Now that we have been upgraded to 2008.1, I'd like to start using the new WSDL (kit items yay!).  However, the documentation isn't entirely consistent about whether the new WSDL is ready for production use or not.  A search for "wsdl" does give a link to the 2008.1 release notes, where there is a link to the WSDL.  However, it is described as "still in Beta phase."  Later in the same release note, an upgrade to the 2008.1 WSDL is recommended for users of NetSuite OneWorld, implying that they should be using the new WSDL.  Is this new WSDL file
