WS logging in problems

I've downloaded and setup the sample WS C# projects, but can not seem to even get logged in. The error I get is

***   SOAP FAULT: fault type=ns1:invalidCredentialsFault with code=.

I've tried the following:
[LIST=1]
[*]I know my email and password are correct because I use them all the time.
[*]I've quadruple checked the account number so I know it is correct as well.
[*]I've tried logging in with several different roles
[*]I've verified that my login has "Concurrent Web Services User" checked.
[*]I've removed web services v 1.3 from the project and setup it up to use v2.6
[*]I've tried setting the default login values in the App.config
