Confused about the new WSDL

edited Dec 2, 2019 3:09PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 8 comments

I was just about to upgrade my WSDL so that I could benefit from the new transaction address format.

I went to the help > SuiteFlex (no mention of the new WSDL)
I then went to the "developers" section of NetSuite.com (no mention of the new WSDL)
I then checked the release notes PDF and found these conflicting statements:

Important: The 2008_1_0 Beta WSDL will be available for the duration of the Beta phase. You can develop against the new endpoint only during the period when your account is running Beta.

and then lower

If you are using the 2.6 WSDL in support of subsidiary management and consolidation, it is recommend that you upgrade to the 2008.1 WSDL. The 2008.1 WSDL fixes a number of schema problems related to NetSuite OneWorld.
