Frustrated with NS Objects

edited Dec 2, 2019 3:09PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 7 comments

Maybe this is because I am a total .NET newb, but I am having a VERY hard time getting started scripting ASP.NET pages for WebServices.  I am trying to do a simple customer & contact insert, and while I am able to insert the two objects, I have been unable to determine the new internal IDs for my two new entities.

I know the internal IDs are returned in the SOAP response, but I have no idea how to get to them.  Obviously it must have something to do with the WriteResponse returned by the add operations, but I just cannot figure out how to get to the information.  The documentation is there but doesn't tell me how to get to the information, its all abstract.  Obviously I should be smarter and know it all means, but I'm not.

Howdy, Stranger!
