Search using parent internalId
I'm trying to retrieve Custom records via the internal id of the parent (Customer entity) record, and I'm having no luck at all.
I wonder if someone would be kind enough to post some code, Java or C# on how to do this?
Here's my (non-working) code.
<span style="font-size:'"2"'"> ("cust.internalId" is a number like "4832") CustomRecordSearch search = new CustomRecordSearch(); CustomRecordSearchBasic basic = new CustomRecordSearchBasic(); basic.customFieldList = new SearchCustomField[1]; basic.customFieldList[0] = new SearchLongCustomField(); ((SearchLongCustomField)basic.customFieldList[0]).@operator = SearchLongFieldOperator.equalTo; ((SearchLongCustomField)basic.customFieldList[0]).searchValue = Int16.Parse(cust.internalId); ((SearchLongCustomField)basic.customFieldList[0]).internalId = "custrecord_client_ref"; ((SearchLongCustomField)basic.customFieldList[0]).operatorSpecified = true; RecordRef recordRef = new RecordRef(); recordRef.type = RecordType.customRecord; recordRef.internalId = "19"; basic.recType = recordRef; search.basic = basic; SearchResult result = service.search(search); if (result.status.isSuccess && result.recordList.Length &gt; 0)...(isSuccess is always false)</span> 0
