Disable server scripts when updating via API?
For my company's use of NetSuite I had to do some extensive SuiteScripting at the contact level, so that processes that were 'missing' from NetSuite, but that were available in our previous CRM (of 10 years) are still available to our users, and so that NetSuite can be fully integrated with our public facing website.
So, I have lots of scripts that execute when a contact is saved by a user within NetSuite, or when a contact is updated by our website using the Web Services API. And, because of this, those updates take quite a while to complete.
