Searching For Custom Records Within A Date Range

Hi,

Does anyone have any pointers on how to perform a search on a custom date field within a given date range for a custom record?

Currently, I'm using a CustomRecordSearch with a CustomRecordSearchBasic.

I create two SearchDateCustomFields, one with the start date and an operator of onOrAfter, the other with the end date with an operator of onOrBefore. If either the start date or end date are not set, I create only one SearchDateCustomField.

It works fine when either the start date is set or the end date is set, but not when both are set. IE: When the search is something like:

Howdy, Stranger!
