WARNING - sandbox and EFT/ACH processing

edited Dec 2, 2019 3:07PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 1 comment

For those who have sandbox accounts and EFT / ACH processing enabled.  The sandbox is processing all EFT / ACH transactions as if they are coming from your production server.  You cannot test EFT / ACH functionality in your sandbox with real account information.

This from NetSuite tech support:
-----------------------
Defect 162778 - Sandbox > Transactions > Customers > Approve Electronic Funds Transfers -- Sandbox account is sending EFT transmissions.

WORKAROUND: Use fake bank account and routing numbers in testing EFT payments in Sandbox.

Your defect has been prioritized as an S3
----------------------

For us, that means on each sandbox refresh we have to replace the EFT information with bogus account info on all our customer records.  This is an unacceptable workaround.  Transactions should not be processed in the sandbox.

Howdy, Stranger!
