Item not searched with the correct currency

Hi,
I am using NS webservice Perl module available on Perl Library site(CPAN). also i am using the multi-website module of netsuite wherein i have multi subsidiary with different currency.
I need to search on a particular subsidiary, when i do so, on a US subsidiary even then i get the pricing in British Pounds, where it should be in USD.

I am confused,
In my userid which is logging in to check the items, i have administrator access and i have my base currency as British Pounds, can this be  a problem, or is it a bug?
