Item Fulfillment error due to length of ship to address fields

edited Dec 2, 2019 3:06PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

This issue has been around for a while but the 2009.1 wsdl broke the fix I was using.

The senario below relates to the length of the ship to company name (shipcompany) field on the item fulfillment record but I suspect it would occur for any address field on the item fulfillment

Senario:
1) If the shipcompany field in NetSuite exceeds 35 characters, an update to the item fulfillment record will fail even if you are not updating the shipcompany field. The issue is that the field value in NetSuite exceeds 35 characters where the 35 character limit is actually imposed by the UPS data structure not NetSuite.

Howdy, Stranger!
