Saved search returns too many results in 2009.2

I have some web service code that is running a saved search using the ItemSearchAdvanced object. It was working fine in 2009.1, returning the same rows over web services as it did in the NetSuite UI. However, after the upgrade the saved search returns 5 times more rows over web services than in the UI. Anyone else experiencing this?
