.wsdl question

I'm working on an application that issues Sales Orders programmatically through SuiteTalk web services, and currently uses the 2008_2 .wsdl. Are there any issues I should expect if I haven't yet upgraded to the 2009_1 .wsdl, specifically with the Customer object. I'm experiecing some errors and I'm trying to figure out if that could be the issue.
