Updating Customer Fails
I am engaged on a project to add/update customer records from another ERP system into NetSuite. I am proceeding with this process using the webservice interface of NetSuite and C#.
When I try to update an existing customer record I receive the message back:
You do not have permissions to set a value for element depositbalance due to one of the following reasons: 1) The field is read-only; 2) An associated feature is disabled; 3) The field is available either when a record is created or updated, but not in both cases.
However, I am not modifying that value at all. It appears that this element is included in the customer record regardless as to whether I "touch" the value. Any thoughts?
