Webservice Training

Hi,
I've been coding in Netsuite client/server side scripts for over 4 years now and just started this past year writing C# webservices. 

I am a seasoned programmer and feel like there is so much I could do to make my code more efficient and faster but not sure where to look or how to do it.  Does Netsuite or anyone else offer training in writing webservices?
