Webservice Logout Errors

Hi,
We have a Wep Application and Request Information ASPX page(s) that drop form data into Netsuite using Webservices.
Everything seems to be working fine but we are starting to see intermittent timeout issues on the logout.
Is the Logout necessary if the code that called the Netsuite webservices (after the submit) exits?

The webservices are written in C#.
