INVALID_KEY_OR_REFERENCE when updating InventoryItem

Hello,

I get an INVALID_KEY_OR_REFERENCE error when trying to update InventoryItems. The internalID and a couple of other fields, plus two custom fields are set, nothing else. Currently I don't know what the reason might be, anybody got an idea? Do you need to know more details? Please let me know.
