Update a SO by order number (tranId) using web services
Hi,
When doing a CSV import of Sales Orders in NetSuite, it is possible to update them using the order number (tranId) as a reference key.
Question 1)
Is it possible to do the same thing using web services?
It looks like updating a Sales Order using web services requires either the internalId or externalId. We need to do an updateList operation using order numbers. We cannot do a separate search for each individual order number to retrieve the internalId prior to the update, due to the volume of sales orders being updated.
Question 2)
As another option, is it possible to search for 200 internalIds given an array of their corresponding 200 order numbers?
