Error when searching item using lastModified

Never seen this before but when searching items using ItemSearchAdvanced with last modified I get:

[Code=USER_ERROR] You do not have the correct features enabled to search on lastModifiedDate.

I'm logged in as Admin (3) and am a bit stumped on what feature I would enable.  Same search works for other NS accounts.
