How to set a customer's department

Hi,
I am using the sample application for testing the web services and receiving this error message when trying to add a new customer:

[Error]: [Code=USER_ERROR] Please enter value(s) for: Department

The Customer class does not have a Department field, so not sure which way to set the department. I looked into the CustomForm, Entity fields but same error.
