External customer registration and single sign on

Hi,

We currently have a web store in Netsuite and we're planning to create a new, external website for our company. In this website, we will invite customers to register into our website. If said customers want to shop our products, we will redirect them to our web store.

What we need is

(a) Have our system (programmed in Java) be able to create (register) Netsuite Webstore customers programatically, sending netsuite the customer's username/password, etc.

and

(b) Have our system be able to do the single sign on so we can send a customer to our Netsuite web store without asking the customer to be logged in.
