Error when choosing a new shippingMethord

Is it not possible to change the shippingMethod after it's set in phptoolkit?

Here's the issue we can get to the checkout and choose our the shipping that we want and calculate, that's all good but if we want to change to a new shipping service it just won't have it, it keeps it locked in on that shipping method and won't overwrite.

Is there a reason for this or a setting that will kill the old one?
