Saved Searches not updating with web services

I have a saved search which I call via web services (php), but it is not updating the results (data, columns, etc) through web services.  If I run the search through the Netsuite web site, it works fine.  I've done some searching on these forums and found many posts describing this exact problem (seems to be a caching issue), but no suitable fixes.  The only "fix" I've found is to create a new saved search by copying the original, but if I have to do that every time I want to run my script, it defeats the purpose (I want
