Referencing custom records using scriptid instead of internalid
We're using web services to create custom record entries. Everything works if I use the internalid number assigned by NetSuite. The problem is that we are developing in our sandbox account and those values will change when we implement in our production account. It would seem that this is exactly the reason why NetSuite provides the scriptid field that we can set. Unfortunately the service returns an INVALID_CSTM_RCRD_TYPE_KEY error when I try to use the "customrecord_abc" scriptid instead of the "123" internalid.
I have used the scriptid value for the internalid property when setting values for custom fields. Is the same functionality not available for custom records?
