Search Results Not the Same as UI

Hello all,
We suddenly have something bizarre happening.  We have a SuiteTalk Console app(C#) that runs nightly and has been running for months without issue.  Suddenly yesterday it is not working properly.

It runs a saved search and then processes each result.  If we run the search in the UI in NetSuite it comes back with the correct result set.  We run the console app which calls the exact same search and it comes back with 8 times the UI search results.  Each item is duplicated 8 times.  I am at a loss to explain this.  The job already takes forever to run and to let it go through it 7 additional times for each item...the job will never finish.
