Upsert triggers what?
This is what I believe to be a deceptively simple question but, I need to know.
What suitescript events does an upsert soap request trigger?
I'm asking because I am currently upserting a custom record and when the external id doesn't exist, the record is correctly added but during that "add/create" function, I am expecting the suitescript tied to the record level beforeSubmit event to execute. I have logs at the beginning of the event and they are not getting triggered during the "add/create" function.
However logs do show that during the "update" function of the following upserts that the beforeSubmit event IS being triggered.
