Can't get field types from getCustomizationId() using the C# SuiteTalk WSDL

edited Dec 2, 2019 2:59PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Hi,

I am trying to get all custom fields from a NetSuite instance and then be able to retrieve the values for any of those custom fields by executing ItemSearchAdvanced() using the C# SuiteTalk WSDL.

I am currently able to get all of the custom fields related to item records for any given NetSuite instance by calling getCustomizationId(). Unfortunately getCustomizationId() does not return the NetSuite field types for each of the fields it returns. Therefore I cannot execute ItemSearchAdvanced() with the custom fields because I can't supply the field types. I was wondering if there is another call you can make to the NetSuite API to be able to retrieve the field types by maybe providing the custom field ID?

Howdy, Stranger!
