Difference between Sales and Sales Cash Basis
On my dashboard, I show the following 3 line items:
Sales
Sales (cash Basis)
Sales Orders
I have my accounting options set to report on cash basis. So, for this KPI, what is the difference between Sales and Sales (cash basis) ?
Also, Sales Orders shows the lowest number of all 3. We have a large number of open sales orders. Shouldn't the line item for sales orders, be the total of open sales orders and sales? I don't understand how they come up with sales orders, as it is the smallest of the 3 numbers. It doesn't make sense to me.
Can someone who has a better understanding of how these numbers are calculated explain it to me?
