KPI/Report on Change in Sales

Hi Guys,

I want to create a report/kpi which shows the % change in sales compared over date periods grouped by the item hierarchy.  Something Like;

Item|DateRangeA|DateRangeB|%Change
Category1|1000|1100|10%
-ItemA|100|120|20%
Category2 ...............

Is this possible in the reporting module, or perhaps I can only do it at the category level using Saved Search and KPI Scorecards?

Any hints?
