Custom Searches Timing Out in v2008
Hi
We're running into issues post-v2008 with a custom saved search (based on sales orders) that has been running on a certain group's Home dashboard successfully for over 2 years. Since v2008, it's been timing out on initial loads and refreshes about 50% of the day now. This is a group that does fulfillment of sales orders, so if they can't see their list of sales orders, it slows down the works for everyone.
Several of us in different offices have been able to replicate the problem. We even tried recreating the custom saved search under a new name and it's having the same flaky results. I opened a case (#720994) with NetSuite a week ago, but haven't heard anything. I suspect the database needs some indexing and statistics updated to help improve performance, but I'm not an Oracle DBA so I may be completely off-base....
