Saved reports in vendor center?

I have not used Vendor Access in the past.  I now have a need to allow a vendor to see a saved report in the vendor center.  Is this possible?
It seems the vendor center can only have certain and very limited permissions.
I added the role to the custom report.  It neither shows in the customer center or shows in customize role to add.
Am I missing something or is this just not an option.
