Daily Hosted Page hit trend

Where can I find documentation on "Hosted Page hit"?
Where can I customise the page so that I can start tracking the hits?
Can the hosted page show individual page that people go to such as "shopping cart" or a particular product?

Currently in my dashboard, the "Hosted Page hit" chart just shows a straight line.
