Custom KPI Scorecards by My Team/Mine

I've built a couple of case searches that I want to appear on a KPI Scorecard. So I've built the search and set "Date Created" and "Assigned To" under the available filters on my searches.
When I run the search itself, I'm able to use the date created and select "Mine" or "My Team" to change the results.
When I add my search to a KPI Scorecard, the Date selected on the KPI works. But when I change the KPI Scorecard to My Team or Mine, the data in the search still shows a total amount and doesn't change.
