Advanced Partner Center Tabs

Does anybody know of a work around to modify tabs on the advanced partner center role? Have not been able to apply a custom center to the role and NetSuite says this is an enhancement.  As a result the APC user had a great deal of access to tools they do not need.  For example why should partners have access to 'Print Checks and Forms'? Why should they have access to 'Billing Questions'?  'Review Negative Inventory'?
