Include budgets in KPI's

Hi

I have seen some very old posts requesting including buddgets in the KPI scorecard or Meter. Has this ever been fixed? I have managed to create a Saved search with the budget, but to include in a KPI scorecard you need to add Date field in the available filters. There is no Date field available in the saved search type for Budget.

Any work arounds to get the budgets in KPI's?
