How to add shortcuts portlet to Activities Tab in Sales Center

Does anyone know how to add the shortcuts portlet to the Dashboard page for the Activites Tab in the Sales Center.  It is an option on the other tabs, but doesn't show up in the list for the Activities Tab.  Thanks!
