Closed Lost/Won

Some time ago our Customer Statuses were rename from Closed Won and Closed Lost to other names.  I'd like to bring back that naming convention to work with the reports properly.  Does it matter what I name them?  For example, for Prospect - Closed Lost do I just give it a percentage of 0?

Edit:  After some testing I found that a Status with a percentage of 0 makes the opportunity Closed-Lost and 100% makes it Closed-Won on save.
