Mass Update using Groups

Hi there

I have created a variety of Groups using saved searches, new searches or just manually adding records.

I presumed that I would be able to use mass Update to modify/update fields for records belonging to a particular Group.

This appears not to be the case, as the mass update featiure for groups appears to be to add more records to a group rather thsan modify ones already in the group.

I thought about exporting the Group, then importing the updated fields, however the Groups contain a mixture of Leads/Prospects/Customers, so this woudl be either very messy or impossible (not sure which).
