Confused on where to close opportunities/estimates
Hello,
I am not sure where I am supposed to "close" (lost) opportunities/estimates. If I change the status of the opportunity to 'Lost Prospect', then it marks the actual close date on the opp, but the Prospect status is still set to Proposal, because there is an open estimate. If I close the estimate, then the Prospect status is set to 'Lost Prospect', and so is the opportunity, but it doesn't set the actual close date on the opportunity. Therefore, none of the reports/kpi's actually show that opportunity as being closed.
Is this behaviour by design? Do you actually have to change the status on the estimate and the opportunity? Or is this a bug (I suspect)?
