Sales Rep Best Practice

edited Nov 22, 2019 10:33AM in CRM 1 comment

Hi, I'm looking for some help with setting up NetSuite properly for my sales reps.

Firstly, we populate leads/customers into NetSuite automatically using WebServices.  By default the sales rep on each record is the detault user - me in fact.

We have sales reps that take sales phone calls, get emails, etc. and then want to log oppourtunities and quotes in NetSuite for the customers they've been talking to.

If I set NetSuite up so that sales reps are restricted to only see customer that they're set as the salesrep for then there's no way for them to create an oppoutunity or quote against the customer record (which already exists).

Howdy, Stranger!
