Search Box in Knowledge Base

Hello All,

I've been tinkering around with this Knowledge Base idea and have figured out how to create a topic and then a solution for that topic and then publishing the topic to the Knowledge Base....(a lot of steps!!) and now I have a new tab labeled "Knowledge Base" that appears on all the employees UI.  After clicking on the tab I find a search box on the top left hand corner but when I search for solutions that I have created nothing comes up.  Do I have to do something to allow solutions to be searched against?  What does that search
