Importing mailing lists for direct mail

We send out several catalogs and brochures to various groups of individual clients each year. Is there a way to import the paid mailing lists as leads? Then will NS keep track of which of these clients (leads) actually purchase product? How is this done?

People talk about sending e-mails, but I don't see much regarding mailing campaigns.
