Item lists in opportunities/estimates/etc
Hello,
I am wondering if anyone can please tell me the logic that is used to sort the item drop down lists for opportunities/estimates/etc. I would have thought it's just alphabetical by item name, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It looks like it might be alphabetical by item, then organized by type/subtype, although not alphabetically there...
The order seems to be something like:
non-inventory items for sale
(alpha listing)
non-inventory items for resale
(alpha listing)
This just doesn't make any sense, it makes the list very cumbersome to understand and navigate.
Can someone please clarify the way that it's sorted and explain why that might be useful? If there is no logical explanation, does anyone agree that this is an issue, or more realistically, an enhancement?
