Serial # in Support case transferred between customers
Hi Netsuite-ies,
If customer 1 is sold item 1 and it breaks under warranty, serial # is returned by customer 2.
In our cases the serial number is not transferable from transactions or viewable from a customer other than the one it was sold to. I would even be happy if we could "pick" from sold serial numbers for that 'item'.
we would like to send a fulfillment slip with the goods being returned stating the product, serial #, fault found and work done. to do this we need to invoice however if under warranty (or even out of warranty) our time is not billable, as the repair fee is set per product not by work done.
