Including Customers Cart Contents in Upsell Manager

Is there any way to modify the look and functionality of the upsell items on a sales order to include the contents on the clients shopping cart (for those less confortable with shopping online)

I'm also wondering if there's a way to customize the view of that page, i'd like to see some more details available for our sales staff.
