Customer Group based on Saved Search
Just wanted to share that when creating a customer group based on a saved search, you may find that some complex searches do not appear in the drop-down list.
I finally narrowed it down to the fact that my saved customer search included summary groupings, including sum of transaction totals.
This is clearly undocumented and misleading, at the least, and most likely a bug, but I don't have an hour to spare to log it as a case.
Narrowing down the results tab of the saved search and eliminating the summary groupings all of the sudden made it available in the drop-down saved search list.
