Removing User Note = Deleting User Note

One of our Sales Reps accidentally removed (one click) a user note from a customer record. It appears this not only removes the user note, but it will also delete the user note from the system.

This sounds like bad design since all other records still exist when they are removed from a recodr, but the customer is no longer attached. Orphaning the user note would make more since that deleting it outright. Just thought I would pass this along since it never came up before.
