Sales Rep User Role/Access

I am sure there is a very easy way to do this and I just have not had time to read all the manuals/guides as yet on the security.  Does someone know how do I set up for my outside sales rep's that are assigned to the Customer Record as the Sales Rep, access to login and view only their customers and transactions ?
