Promotion Codes Scalability Problem: Vote for Enhancement 147158
Scalability Problem: Vote for Enhancement 147158
Including select items or excluding select items from accepting Promotion Codes is not at all scalable. No way to mass update, import, filter, etc....just search > click > add for each child item, one at a time through a browser. Now this is great if you have only a handfull of items. What if you have several hundred child and parent items or a few thousand items? This is another scalability problem that isolates Netsuite Promotion Codes/Coupon Codes to very small businesses.....like a lemonade stand.
Imagine for second, we have 250,000 items that need to accept promotion codes and 50,000 that should not accept promotion codes. The only option is to search > click > add to exclude each of the 50,000 items one at a time. To make matters worse, it appears promotion codes have no Save As function so we have to start this painful process over every time we want to change the promotion code.
