Customer Status

One of our customer status is send brochure and at this stage we do a mail merge to print an introduction letter and send them brochures with the letter.

At the moment once the letter is printed we update their status MANUALLY to brochure sent.

Is it possible to have the status automatically updated to brochure sent once the mail merge is performed?
